The Great South Run

was held on Sunday, 12th October 2003 in Portsmouth

John Purkiss, Branch Chairman of the RSPCA Sutton Branch managed to raise £420 by taking part in a 10 mile run. Despite injuring a calf muscle prior to the race and needing phyiotherapy, he still managed to complete the course in well under 2 hours.

The money raised will help go towards rebuilding our new Animal Clinic. It's still not too late to sponsore John for his run and if you would like to do so and help contribute to the Animal Clinic, please make cheques payable to:
