BROTHERS IN ARMS

Together the seven Cullen brothers trained and entered the London Marathon. One brother had an injury and had to pull out but the others ran together. They raised money for another Charity, but Paul sponsored them £10 for each one to win, with £100 for all of them to win. Click Here for the full story.

HARMING ANIMALS WHILE AT PLAY

The RSPCA is warning adults and youngsters caught up in football fever to remember to take down their goal nets at night – or run the risk of causing harm and injury to wildlife. Not all animals have a lucky escape such as the fox in this story.

NEW REHOMING CO-ORDINATOR

We would like to welcome our new Rehoming Co-Ordinator, Lisa Conroy, and wish her success in her new position with us. We are sure that Lisa will fill the role admirably and are delighted with her appointment. Sadly, Bette Strong, our Rehoming Co-Ordinator of 15 years has now retired and we wish her all the best in the future.

CARSHALTON CARNIVAL

We held our logo stall on June 14 at t Ruskin Park, Carshalton. It was a very successful day and we received quite a lot of visitors to the stall. People were very generous with their donations and we raised over £230.

CHEAM FAIR

We held our logo stall at Cheam Fair on Monday, 26 May. The weather stayed nice for us and we were kept very busy throughout the day. Thank you to all those visitors who dropped by our stall and supported us. The RSPCA Sutton Branch raised £268.45 in total which was very much appreciated by the community.

CRAFT FAIR

The RSPCA Sutton branch had their logo stall at Morden Hall Park Craft Fair. Although the days clashed with RSPCA week, the stall at the Craft Fair brought in some much needed funds for the Branch. In total, including the stall, the donations and a tombola, the money raised was £851.61.

VOUCHER SCHEME

The Sutton & District branch have now launched a voucher scheme to cut the cost of animal treatment for residents on income support, benefits or pensions. Please Click Here for further information.
